Words have power. If you have any understanding of how we communicate either in written form or when speaking to one another, then you realize the meaning of just how much power words truly have. Your ability to communicate with Spirit is the key to accessing your abilities. When you are communicating, you are really taking action to create your reality which means you are co-creating with Spirit.
I know you’ve heard the phrase, “ask and it’s yours” … well, that’s the kind of communication and co-creating I’m talking about.
While anything is possible when co-creating with Spirit, you have to understand one thing. It’s a disclaimer of sorts. Please take a moment to understand this.
As long as you are asking for something that is “in the highest good”, then Spirit will work with you. You can learn more about Spirit in the next post. For now, I want to focus on what it means to be “in the highest good.”
At the end of the day, you and I are bound by this human form and human brain that only has so much understanding of what “the highest good” may be. We have also been programmed through our lives to believe narratives and to be controlled by those in power. Therefore, our individual ideals of “highest good” may or may not be the same as “in the highest good” that Spirit supports.
When working with Spirit to make requests, it is a good practice to make the request in this way…
“Spirit, if it’s in the highest good, please…”
The rest of the request may be anything that you are wanting. If it is in the highest good, you will see this come to fruition. However, if it is not in the highest good, Spirit will not allow the request. Consider it a sort of checks and balances.
You may be completely comfortable with this cautionary advice (as I was). Or you may be more suspect and wonder what happens if you do not use the phrase. Honestly, I can’t tell you as I have always used the phrase.
I do know this, my Spirit team and I are quite close. We communicate often and they would not stand for me to ask for more than what is in the highest good.
My best advice is for you to do the trauma healing work so you reach self-actualization before you begin to ask for anything that might not be “in the highest good.” I feel confident, once you do reach self-actualization, you will want to always do what is “in the highest good.”
Another way to think about this is the phrase, “some of God’s greatest gifts are unanswered prayers” … just because you pray for something to happen or not happen, doesn’t mean you’ll get what you asked for. There’s a reason… you just need to accept it and understand it wasn’t meant to be.
